Matthew gained Tiffany, but lost Michelle

You know how Tiffany Evans just hired Beyonce’s dad as her manager? Well, she may be filling in for someone else because..Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child fame has left the Music World building!

FINALLY it happened!! I always thought she’d do it before Kelly, but at least it’s happened. She has to start her career from the bottom, almost like a newbie, but this is just the beginning. Her last album, Unexpected, was 9.5/10 for me, and it sucks that millions won’t ever hear it. There’s no point in putting effort into something that your supposed support doesn’t, you know, SUPPORT. Now she’ll go elsewhere and do something special.

You can see the difference in Kelly’s career. In just one year she’s done so much more than she ever did with Music World (Matthew Knowles management). Once Michelle’s successful stint on broadway ends- she’s in Chicago- her album should be ready for the number one slot on Billboard.

2010 is shaping up rather well for music.

Drop the dead weight!

Keyshia Cole recently announced that she has cut ties with her mother and sister.

When Keyshia was younger she moved in with her foster mother, but met up with her biological mother further down the line. Along Keyshia’s journey to r’n'b success, her biological family hopped on the gravy train and rode with her whether she liked it or not.

Now Keyshia is expecting a boy with her fiance this year, enough is enough. She has dropped the dead weight, her mother and sister, and moved on with her new family.

GOOD!

I wish Michael Jackson had done the same thing many decades ago! Funding his siblings ventures and bailing them out of trouble pushed him further into debt. It’s bad enough owing hundreds of millions to strangers, but when you have to support your family (his parents, siblings, and their children too), things have gone to far.

Don’t get me wrong. You should help others, especially family, but you must know when to drop the dead weight! When you help someone, you should step away over time, not baby them even more. NO ONE should use you and the dedication you’ve put into succeeding. No one, not even your family. If they really love you, they’ll understand.
